This is one of the character, Mei Mei from a local famous animated show, Upin Ipin. It's supposed to be a 2D Mei Mei riding her bicycle. Half way through she became 3D :P
Customer's feedback: Hi Faith..our Airis' small birthday party was a success. When Airis saw the cake, she was so excited seeing Mei Mei riding the bicycle. The first thing that attracted her attention was Mei Mei's specs. She even tried to grab the specs but we managed to stop her. The cake was so beautiful. Took so many pictures before cutting the cake. Everybody loved the cake especially the birthday girl n other kids. Thanks for making my little princess happy...Surely will be one of your regular customers. :o)

Customer's feedback: Thanks very much for the lovely cake. The Beer Mug looked great! Certainly was a very unique designed cake and alot of people had nice things to say. It may have been a little too sweet but overall the impact was lovely for my hubby's 40th surprise birthday.

No. 40 was dusted with lustre dust and mug handle painted silver. Wood veins highlighted with gold paint.

Cow Cake - Zi Sze

Single-recipe 6" round Moist Chocolate Cake with 20 Small Souffle Cupcakes of the same flavor. All frosted with chocolate ganache before covering with fondant.

Basically, everybody was impressed by your cake, and keep on asking me where did i order from. we took a lot of photos of the cake, before we cut it and eat it. we thought that the cake will be sweet because of the icing, but surprisingly it wasn't, the chocolate cake was just nice, even we kept for another 2 days, it was still soft and nice.

we had finished the cake, but i took the cow out and keep in a container, as a deco item in my house, and also a memory for my daughter's 1 year old. thanks so much for making my daughter's birthday a meaningful day with the beautiful cake.

Learned a new term through this order, merisik = meaning asking for the hand of the girl for marriage.
These 2 sets of Standard Souffle cupcakes are going to be buah tangan (gift brought along while visiting) for a couple who is meeting the parents of a young lady this evening. Sounds confusing, huh? hehe...I'm not in the right frame of mind too :P
What I'm trying to say is the parents of the boy is going to meet the parents of the girl to ask for their permission for the boy to marry the girl. Now I'm confused, hahaha...

Boat Shape Hantaran Cake

I did the engagement hantaran cakes for this couple 2 years ago. Fazli's mum booked my date months ahead of time for his wedding hantaran cake. The initial design was a round single-recipe cake but just a day before I baked the cake I was told the tray is in the shape of a boat and the cake should just fit the tray. Easy for transport to Muar.
I was tempted to change the base color of the cake as black for this shape didn't look right even though the wedding theme is black and silver. However, as the flowers were already made in advance to dry and there was not enough time to make a new batch (sky gloomy and crying everyday) I had to stick to the original plan.
