The quantum of price increases of essential baking ingredients is alarming and shocking to bakers as well as households. Never in history has a kilo of wheat flour increased by RM1.00 in a single price hike. Price of another main ingredient, butter has also gone up 2 times since Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year and is expected to go up somemore! Price hikes of many more essential items are expected to go up in the next few days or weeks. This will affect prices of my products.
