Sea Theme Wedding Cake

Sea Theme Wedding Cake chosen by Nurain. I really like the colors. It's so classic :o)
3-recipe Moist Chocolate Cake with fondant and gumpaste figurines.

This set is for Nurain's hantaran. 12 Standard Souffle Vanilla Cupcakes with fondand shells dusted with bronze and gold color lustre dust.

For cakes below 2 tiers, self collections are most welcomed & preferred.
However, cakes above 2 tiers are more delicate to handle and transport. We recommend such cakes be delivered by our experienced transporter.

FAQs

How far ahead or how many day advanced notice is required for an order?
I have received bookings months ahead of events. The sooner you place your order the better.
For topsy-turvy and sculpted cakes, min. notice: 2 weeks
Wedding cakes: 1 month
However, there may be slots for last minute orders. Just email or call me.
What's the minimum order?
Depends on designs. Generally, 1 recipe.
Do I need to keep the cake in the refrigerator?
Due to our humid weather it is not advisable to keep fondant/gum paste decorated cakes in the refrigerator. Only remainder after serving should be kept in the refrigerator for enjoyment later.
Can sugar be reduced in cakes and icing?
Sugar acts as a preservative, helps retain moisture, and keeps baked-goods fresher longer. As such reduction from cake will be minimal.
As for icing, sugar is the main ingredient in icing that gives texture and body to icing. You can request for butter cream with less sugar (normally found in bakeries) but it is not suitable as a base for fondant covered cakes.
Reduction of sugar from fondant is not possible. You can remove the fondant and enjoy the cake with the filling and frosting underneath.
