My Daughter's Birthday Cake

This is my daughter's birthday cake. She turned 12 last Thursday. As requested by her, it's a cheesecake layered with blueberry filling. The overall design was inspired by one of Collette Peter's books. I made a girl in her ballet attire because my daughter likes ballet and she's a great dancer.

The girl was made with sugar but her skirt was wet by the blueberry filling and melted few hours later. I'd to do rescue work and she was changed before the cake cutting ceremony, phew...

This was how she looked after her skirt was changed ;o)

Size: One 6" round and one 7" round (2 recipes). Extra tall cake.
