Sesame Street Cake

This one is a 2.5-recipe 6" and 9" 2-tier Moist Chocolate Cake frosted and filled with chocolate ganache.
The cake is for a pair of twins, Kai Le and Kai An. An Le in Chinese means peace and happiness. How nice :o)

Customer's feedback: Hi Faith, the fondant and ganache was a tad bit too sweet for the older folks, but some of the kids loved it. For me, it was alright as the cake itself was not too sweet, so the fondant complimented it. But it was painful too see some people eat the cake and throw the icing away :( Anyway thx, everyone said it was beautiful though ;)
Faith: Don't feel bad if people throw away fondant. It's the usual practice. Some people may be adverse to sugar ;)

Hantaran Cake - Ana

1.5-recipe 7" round American Chocolate Cake layered and frosted with chocolate ganache. This cake is layered with 3 layers of ganache!!!
How I wish you guys can send me photos of cut cakes, off course cakes done by me. I'm sure others would like to see too.

Camera Cake Izam

Another camera cake. This time it's Red Velvet and life-size camera (actually slightly bigger than life size) on round cake. My loyal customer, Aida Ismail ordered this for her husband's 28th birthday. Time flies! Remember doing his birthday cake last year (fishing theme) and their wedding cake too.
3-recipe red velvet cake with carved out camera sitting on a 10" round. Love the piping on the board ;D

16"x12" Moist Chocolate Cake filled with chocolate ganache. Gum paste glove with silver dragees. Buttons were painted with gold pearl dust.

Princess Pillow Cake

Amelia is Georgie's younger sister. Georgie had the High School Musical Cake few months back. This time Amelia wants as many princesses as possible on 2 pillows! I have limited the number to 6 and they took me the whole day to complete. I timed myself and each princess, aside from Cinderella and Tiana, took me an hour to make (mixing of colors excluded). Cinderella and Tiana took longer.
Here I have Belle right on top. Cinderella and Aurora on second tier and Ariel, Snow White and Tiana on the board.

Jungle Theme Cake - Khalish

When my son saw this cake and the Dora Cake he asked why so many waterfall. I said I was trying to create a different look for Khalish then Danielle's Jungle Theme Cake and I was trying to show how smart I was in doing waterfalls using different method :P
The waterfall on Dora Cake was done using crusting butter cream while this one was done with crusting butter cream and piping jelly.
